CSBP Limited is a major manufacturer and supplier of chemicals and fertilisers to the mining industrial and agricultural sectors.

CSBP Limited has been operating in Western Australia for more than 90 years and has a long and proud history working with the state's communities.

In 1910, two competing companies the Mt Lyell Mining and Railway Co. and Cuming Smith and Co. established fertiliser works at Fremantle and Bassendean in Western Australia. These two companies later merged to form what is today known as CSBP Limited. CSBP is an acronym for "Cumming Smith British Petroleum" which are companies that previously jointly owned the company. Since this time CSBP Limited has been a leader in fertiliser manufacture Western Australia and now supplies a range of quality fertilisers to thousands of farmers throughout the State's agricultural regions.

In the 1970s CSBP Limited began to emerge as a leading chemical manufacturer supplying acids and chemicals for a wide range of uses in Australia's mining mineral processing and water treatment industries. CSBP Limited is part of the Wesfarmers Limited group a major diversified Australian public company.
