Ben Grainger

For Ben, engineering is all about thinking outside the box.

He was drawn to the profession so he could work out what makes things tick, and to make a difference in the world.

Now, Ben works in the electrical engineering field, developing and testing switchboards to create safer workplaces. He has developed prototypes and implemented risk reduction strategies during a varied and challenging career.

In the future, he would like to find an economically viable and technically feasible alternative energy source that could reduce the reliance on non-renewable energy sources.
